Mass Audubon: A Campaign to Rescue Raptors

Mass Audubon: A Campaign to Rescue Raptors In-Person

Join us as we welcome David Shapiro from Mass Audubon to discuss Cape Cod Raptors. This presentation will introduce the species that are commonly seen as well as describe some of the ongoing threats these special birds face; and how it impacts raptors, foxes, coyotes, and other predators keep Massachusetts’ ecosystems in balance.

Mass Audubon is the largest nature-based conservation organization in New England. Founded in 1896 by two women who fought for the protection of birds, Mass Audubon carries on their legacy by focusing on the greatest challenges facing the environment today: the loss of biodiversity, inequitable access to nature, and climate change.

David Shapiro is a Senior Teacher Naturalist for Mass Audubon Cape Cod. He leads adult programs across the Cape, covering topics from birds to sea turtles!
