Grief 101 with Sharing Kindness In-Person
Grief is a natural response to loss. Yet many bereaved people report feeling misunderstood and abandoned by their friends and communities due to a lack of education about the needs of the grieving. We’re starting the conversation with Grief 101, a presentation at local libraries that covers “the basics” of grief: what it is, how it impacts our brains and bodies, and how we can support people in our lives who are going through it.
Sharing Kindness, in partnership with local librarians and with funding from the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM), is offering this presentation for free. To learn more about Sharing Kindness, visit https://sharingkindness.org/.
