Sound Meditation with Ashley Woodworth In-Person

Join us quarterly for Sound Meditation with Ashley Woodworth, local yoga teacher and sound facilitator!

Sound meditation is an integrated practice that combines a restorative setting with an emphasis on breath, mindful presence, and judicious listening. Instruments such as antique Tibetan singing bowls, etheric chimes, frame drums, rattles, and a gong are played during the meditation. This container empowers participants to use sound as a
therapeutic tool to disconnect from the monkey mind and delve into an embodied state, disengaging from habitual patterns of thought and behavior, and initiating beneficial cognitive change.

We will have chairs to sit in, but will provide space if you'd like to bring a mat or blanket to lie on. Other comforts to bring include a pillow, an eye mask, or an extra blanket. Dress comfortably!

About the Facilitator
Ashley Woodworth is a yoga teacher, meditation guide, and space-holder devoted to helping others remember their divinity. Through philosophy, ceremony, and sacred sound practice, she creates environments where the
nervous system softens and the heart opens. Her work invites participants to experience themselves not as separate beings seeking harmony, but as living expressions of it. She guides yoga practices in hatha, vinyasa flow, power, meditative, and restorative styles, drawing upon over 400 hours of training in the Kripalu and Bhakti traditions. She
trained with an ethnomusicologist, sound therapist, and sound researcher to learn the art and science of sound meditation and now facilitates extended meditations with a suite of overtone-rich instruments. Ashley draws upon two master’s degrees in philosophy and neuropsychology, and also holds advanced certifications in subtle-body
work and is reiki-attuned.

Sounds Like Love is a sacred, ceremonial sound experience devoted to remembrance. Through vibration, silence, and presence, we return to harmony — within the body, within the nervous system, and within the heart. Offered privately, these experiences are tailored to individuals and groups and may take place in the comfort of your own home. Ashley’s overarching vision is to create spaces and facilitate experiences that empower individuals and groups in their spiritual evolution.
