Join Alison O'Leary for a look inside Massachusett's spectacular scenery, hiking trails, and other wonderful opportunities for adventure. The best part is most of these places are hidden in plain sight: in our museums, state parks, and shared spaces. Get inspiration for all of your summer day trips and adventures in one program!

Longtime journalist and nonfiction book author Alison O’Leary is a Massachusetts native. She has had a long career that includes periods with The Boston Globe, as editor of The Boston Parents’ Paper, and as a freelance writer for a range of periodicals from Florida to Maine. She is an avid hiker, mountain biker, and sailor. She and her partner John sailed over
2,000 miles in the past year, visiting many Caribbean islands. In the past when traveling with her four daughters and now, with her three grandchildren, Alison always has her radar on for daytrip possibilities that include lots of outdoor activities, interesting museums, and unique experiences. Alison has several other programs scheduled on Cape Cod in coming months,
opportunities to hear her World War II and Best Museums in Massachusetts talks.
