Marcellus Eldredge: Catalyst for the Chatham We Know In-Person

Join Eldredge Library director Amy Andreasson and Chatham Railroad Museum co-director Gil Sparks to explore the life and legacy of one of Chatham’s most prosperous and benevolent native sons, Marcellus Eldredge (1838-1898), whose local investment and philanthropy catalysed the town’s transformation during the late 1800’s from fishing village to summer resort.  This program is part of June History Month sponsored Historic Chatham.  Join us for a full month of special events at Chatham's many historic sites, museums and organizations. See historic-chatham.org for event listings and details.
